  • Need for fast training of housekeeping teams
  • Heterogeneous people who come as reinforcements during the high season
  • Traditional e-learning (video) requires too much time and is no longer adapted​

Solution & Objectives

Creation of a “Cleaning Essentials” module deployed on a VR headset, to complement the training program for housekeeping teams. This immersive training enables:

  • The immersion in a Pierre & Vacances residence and application of the cleaning procedure step by step.
  • Putting teams in playful situations
  • The sharing of cleaning processes, gestures and postures
  • Improved cleanliness compliance rates
  • Saving time on training
  • Improving customer satisfaction and cleanliness NPS

Results

  • 86% clean compliance rate compared with 76% prior to POC launch
  • 72% reduction in training time
  • Clean NPS of 40 points in 2023
  • 97% of learners selected 4/5 or 5/5 for the 5 satisfaction questions
  • The most frequent comments were: “Immersive”, “Interesting”, “Simple”.

Deployment

  • 40 “Pierre & Vacances” sites have purchased 44 VR headsets to train their employees and housekeeping staff.
  • New modules to be deployed
