Firefox Reality and HTC Vive Focus: Experience 6DoF!

A little over a month ago, Mozilla launched a brand new web browser called Firefox Reality It is intended for autonomous virtual reality and augmented reality (or mixed reality) headsets. The first version of this browser is available in the Viveport, Oculus, and Daydream application stores.

Firefox Reality offers users the ability to access immersive content in the Web while retaining their freedom of choice, privacy control and a high level of protection. Designing a browser adapted to virtual reality required a lot of time, energy and research from the Firefox VR team.

HTC Vive Focus finally available in Europe!

Since the arrival of the Oculus Go on the market, autonomous virtual reality headsets are developing. It was not until several months after its release in China that the latest HTC was finally available in Europe. The HTC Vive Focus, the range of autonomous headsets work without phone or PC.

Powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, this model is based on the Vive Wave VR platform. With a resolution of 2880 × 1600 pixels coupled with a field of view at 110° and the 6 degrees of freedom that it proposes, the immersion of the wearer is total.
