1. Context
Decathlon aimed to deepen employee awareness of corporate corruption by offering an alternative to traditional training methods. The objectives were to:
-
Expose participants to sensitive, challenging scenarios;
-
Highlight the difficulty of reporting unethical practices and allow learners to experience the full unfolding of such situations;
-
Inform learners about the internal procedures in place within the company.
2. Solution
An immersive virtual reality module called “Ethics & Compliance” was developed with Uptale.
Learners step into the role of Alix, an accountant facing a moral dilemma under a 10-second countdown, confronted with a decision that carries serious consequences.
This highly immersive format delivers tension, emotion, and engagement, far beyond what a conventional training session can offer.
