When two of the most innovative French Edtech companies in the education and training market, OpenClassrooms and Uptale revolutionize remote learning by creating a unique immersive experience for young talents seeking their first job, this partnership, where OpenClassrooms and Uptale revolutionize remote learning, aims to transform how learners access online education by offering solutions tailored to current needs.

Preparing candidates for the realities of the job market while meeting the challenges of distance learning is a priority for OpenClassrooms, one of Europe’s leading online training providers. In their ongoing effort to enhance pedagogical paths, the combination of OpenClassrooms’ MOOCs with Uptale’s immersive simulations has become an obvious choice to achieve their mission of revolutionizing remote learning.

Through a 360° conversational module, learners develop their employability

Future candidates practice the often stressful exercise of job interviews and improve through a feedback system based on voice analysis. This first experience, aimed at developers, immerses us in the role of a candidate from a first-person perspective. A recruiter asks questions, and the learner must interact with her using their voice, structuring their presentation, and using certain key words favored by recruiters, which are validated throughout the interview.

The combination of voice recognition and voice analysis gives this simulation a much more realistic and engaging dimension.

OpenClassrooms coaches who follow these learners then have access to the recording and a voice analysis dashboard, allowing them to provide personalized feedback.

This immersive simulation, available on all types of devices—computer, smartphone, and Virtual Reality headset—completes the candidate’s training program and validates their skills.

To create this module, OpenClassrooms partnered with Uptale, an expert in Immersive Learning, to design a particularly realistic and engaging module in just a few days, resulting in a promising collaboration between two EdTech France partner companies and learning specialists.

This type of educational modality adds a new dimension to the currently offered MOOCs: real-life scenario training, providing learners with more context, action, and emotion.

The goal: greater success in interviews for candidates who have completed the module.

This module, initially tested on a program for 300 people, will lead to more on OpenClassrooms. It can be adapted for interview scenarios for technical or sales profiles, as well as other uses such as soft skills training, learning to respond to various professional situations, teamwork, and conflict management.
